Community
At Boom Construction, we believe our role extends beyond building. Wherever we work, we look for meaningful ways to give back — whether that’s improving shared spaces, supporting local initiatives, or simply leaving things better than we found them. Our commitment to the communities we build in is woven into every project, not just during construction, but long after we’ve packed up and gone.
The Ollie Foundation
The construction industry faces a significant mental health crisis, with workers nearly four times more likely to die by suicide compared to the national UK average
At Boom Construction, we recognise the urgency of addressing this issue and are committed to supporting initiatives that promote mental well-being within our industry. That's why we proudly support The OLLIE Foundation, a charity dedicated to delivering suicide awareness, intervention, and prevention training. Established by three parents who tragically lost their children to suicide, The OLLIE Foundation equips individuals and organisations with the skills to identify warning signs and provide crucial support to those in need.
Through our partnership with The OLLIE Foundation, we aim to foster a culture of openness and support, ensuring that our colleagues feel safe, valued, and heard. By investing in suicide prevention training and resources, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our employees and the wider community.

Scotty's Little Soldiers
We’re proud to support Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to helping bereaved British Forces children through life after loss. It’s a cause that’s particularly close to one of our directors' hearts, and one we’re honoured to stand behind. Through our business support, we hope to play a small part in making a big difference to the lives of these incredibly resilient young people.
The Mountain Foundation
At Boom Construction, we’re proud to support The Mountain Foundation — a charity that uses the power of the outdoors to inspire positive change.
Their mission is to take people out of their everyday environments and into nature, offering space for respite, reflection, and meaningful conversation. Through activities like hiking, abseiling, and learning new skills, participants gain confidence, clarity, and connection. It’s about creating a turning point — a moment where someone can reset, find support, and start a path toward long-term wellbeing. We believe in the work they do and are committed to helping them make that life-changing impact.
